What is an EfM group?
The EfM group is the heart of the EfM programme, where people meet regularly for discussion, reflection, worship, prayer and fellowship. The group can meet in-person or by Zoom. A group is a trained mentor and 4 to 11 participants.
Once formed a group is closed. Not having new people joining during the year helps build the sense of community. Group meetings last about 2 hours . The group will meet 36 times over a year. There is more information about groups here

This is an 11-week course looking at Christianity in New Zealand. It will next offered in 2027.
Where Does EfM Have Groups?
EfM currently has groups meeting in Te Aro, Wellington and by Zoom. Groups usually start in February each year. The next intake into existing groups will be February 2027.
It may be that you could start a new group in your area. To start new group you need:
Email the Administrator if you are interested in forming a new group. To form a group you need:
- An Accredited Mentor. EfM provides mentor training without cost once or twice a year.
- Between 5 and 11 participants
How to Join a Group?
Joining a group is simple.
- Fill in the form below
- The administrator will put you in contact with the mentor of a group meeting your needs
- You will be sent an enrolment form and a book list
- Complete the enrolment form and send it back to the administrator
- Pay the fee
- Order you textbooks
- Enjoy exploring your faith.
